Just Scoop It — Who doesn’t like the serenity of listening to the birds? Some of their songs may not be music to your ears but they are a great big part of our environment and we need to keep them thriving. A great way is to have a birdfeeder. I use a small utility can to store my feed by didn’t have a scoop to use so I could accurately place the food into the feeder. Using a half gallon milk jug, I cut about 3/4” below the handle (when the jug is upright). That’s it! You have scoop and don’t forget to keep the cap on or what you’re scooping will go out the other end. You can always use some craft glue to secure the lid. I didn’t and haven’t had a problem. Also with this scoop it allows you to easily allows to pour into small tubes, especially bird feeders. It’s a quick project for the children and in the end you will be entertained watching the birds…Peace Out.
